Personality Project


My Family

For starters there is a picture of the Simpson’s in my power point because it shows how many people and how many girls and boys are in the Van Hulle family. In my family there are five people and one pet. My dad’s name is Marty, my mom’s name is Chris, my older brothers name is Aaron and my younger sisters name is Kat. There is a picture of a blanket on a chair because in my family when a new baby is born my great grandma makes a blanket for them. Although there is a strange picture of a fish with big eyes, that is how my pet fish looks. Her name is Roxanne and she is about 1 year old.

Inherited Features

In the next slide on my power point there are pictures of a Hazel colored eye, a daughter and a father, and a nose. The hazel eye represents the eye color, which I inherited from my dad. A daughter and father shows that I got my height from my dad. I am actually only 5’4 now and he is 6’2, so I still have a lot of growing to do. Lastly the nose in my presentation shows that I have is a nose. Although I look more like my dad because of my skin color and hair, my face shape more resembles my mom. That is where I got my nose from.

Outer Appearance

Next up in my power point there are pictures of the grooming products I use, which brand name I like the most, and a piece of clothing I like the most. The first grooming product I use is a Revlon hair straightener because I like to wear my hair straight sometimes. Next comes the Sunbeam curler and it is in my presentation because I love wearing my hair curly. American Eagle is my favorite store and that is why the label is in my project. Lastly comes Abercrombie jeans because jeans are my favorite piece of clothing and Abercrombie is another one of my favorite stores.

Inherited Traits

Now comes the inherited traits that I have. The first picture shows that I don’t wear glasses anymore, even though I used to wear them. Next I included a picture of a girl sneezing in a field full of flowers. I actually get very bad allergies in the summer and spring, so that is why I used that picture. Also most of my family has allergies, which is kind of a down side to my inherited traits. Lastly there is a picture of a right hand, which symbolizes that I am right handed.

Social Behavior

Included in my social behavior slide there are pictures of my role model, the team sports I am in, and what my social activities are. My role model is Michael Jordan because I love the game of basketball and he is one of the biggest stars in basketball history. As you can tell I love basketball, and I play for 2 teams during the year. The other team sport I do is track, and in track I do long jump which is my favorite things to do. Lastly comes my social activities, which is the picture of popcorn and movie tickets. I have always loved going to see movies with my friends for as long as I can remember.

Talents, Skills, Abilities

One of my favorite things to do is read, there for I included a picture of books stacked up. Although I am not the best drawers, I really enjoy that as well. There is a picture of hands drawing to show that I like art and drawing. Lastly there is a picture of the outdoors because I love to do anything out doors, mainly jump on my trampoline during the summer.

Future Plans

Next up is what I have in mind for future plans. For college I really am wanting to go to school in Minnesota because I would like to get out of state, even though it is right next to Wisconsin. Although I am not 100 percent positive in what I want to do when I grow up, I look forward to trying to get into Minnesota for college. The picture of a father walking his daughter down the isle, is because I want to get married when I am older. The last photo is of two kids and this symbolizes that I want to have kids when I grow up and I am married.

Eating Habits

In the eating habits portion of this project I used pictures of thin crust pizza, cottage cheese, and Culver’s. The reason why I included thin crust pizza is because that is my favorite thing to eat. I personally think that thin crust with sausage is the best pizza ever. Next the picture of Culver’s is in my project because it is my favorite restaurant. Often I go to this restaurant with my basketball after games and we have a lot of fun. Lastly the picture of cottage cheese is in my project because I dislike this food the most. Just the way it looks grosses me out.

Fears and Pet Peeves

The next part of my project is what my fears and pet peeves are. The first photo is of a white cargo van. I added this picture because it is the one thing that I am very afraid of. Many people have different things that bother them, but the one thing that bothers me is when you are walking and the people in front of you are walking way to slow. That is the reason I have a photo of people walking. Next comes the picture of a grim reaper and that symbolizes what I worry about sometimes.

Favorites

Some of my favorites include holidays, my favorite color and my all time favorite artist. The first photograph is of a Christmas tree is because I love this holiday the most. This year my Christmas was fantastic as usual! Next comes a picture of Taylor Swift because she is my all time favorite artist. I have been listening to her for about 2 years now, and she keeps coming out with even more great music. The picture of a blue design speaks for itself, because I love the color blue.

Emotions and Feelings

I am usually a very happy person, and one of the things that makes me happy is my friends. That is why there is a picture of just some of my good friends. Next comes what makes me angry, which is fighting. I hate fighting with my friends, so I avoid as much trouble as possible. The photo of acting faces is in my presentation to show that drama within my friend groups makes me sad. Nobody likes to be involved with drama, but when it does happen it defiantly makes me sad.

Life Experiences

The final slide in my power point includes pictures of Florida, a pirate, and a basketball trophy. The basketball trophy is simply showing that I have one basketball trophies before. Even though there is only one picture of a trophy I have actually won about 13. Next comes the picture of Florida, which shows that it is one of the places I have traveled before. The last time I went to Florida I was only in second grade, but luckily this year I am going during spring break. The final picture on my slide show represents that I have won pirate pride awards for school. This is one of the things that I am most proud of for receiving awards.

All in all the personality project was very enjoyable and easy to complete. The pictures were also very simple to find and combine in with my power point. I also really liked how this project was done through technology. I would recommend this project for next year due to the following reason I had previously stated. One suggestion was to let people keep doing the projects online, because it obviously takes a lot shorter time period and if you have technology why not use it.
